Chen-hsiu Huang entered the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineeringt of
National Taiwan University in 1998 and became a graduate student of DSP Group in Communications and Multimedia Laboratory (CML) in 2002.
After two years, he received his master degree with his thesis
"A Musical-driven Video Summarization System Using Content-aware Mechanisms" in computer science under the supervision of
Professor Ja-Ling Wu.
The same year, his master thesis also won the 18th Dragon Thesis Award from the Acer Foundation.
In 2004, when he finished his three months' basic military training, he decided to join the CyberLink Corp as a software
engineer for the next four years.
